Over 200 people are killed each year when backed over by motor vehicles. Ford’s powertrain warranty covers the Mustang Mach-E 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Audi covers the A6 e-tron. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the A6 e-tron ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

There are over 9 times as many Ford dealers as there are Audi dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Mustang Mach-E’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2025 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Ford vehicles are better in initial quality than Audi vehicles. With 76 fewer problems per 100 vehicles, JD Power ranks Ford higher than Audi.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Mustang Mach-E Select/Premium’s wheelbase is 1.4 inches longer than on the A6 e-tron (117.5 inches vs. 116.1 inches). The Mustang Mach-E GT’s wheelbase is 1.9 inches longer than on the A6 e-tron (118 inches vs. 116.1 inches).

The Mustang Mach-E’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (50% to 50%) than the A6 e-tron’s (47% to 53%). This gives the Mustang Mach-E more stable handling and braking.

The Mustang Mach-E GT handles at .92 G’s, while the A6 e-tron Prestige pulls only .88 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

For better maneuverability, the Mustang Mach-E’s turning circle is 2.3 feet tighter than the A6 e-tron’s (38.1 feet vs. 40.4 feet).

The Ford Mustang Mach-E may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 200 to 550 pounds less than the Audi A6 e-tron.

The Mustang Mach-E Select/Premium is 8.4 inches shorter than the A6 e-tron, making the Mustang Mach-E easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Mustang Mach-E has 3.1 cubic feet more passenger volume than the A6 e-tron (101.1 vs. 98).

The Mustang Mach-E has .4 inches more front headroom, 1.9 inches more front legroom, .6 inches more rear headroom and 2.9 inches more rear legroom than the A6 e-tron.

In case you lock your keys in your vehicle, or don’t have them with you, you can let yourself in using the Mustang Mach-E’s exterior PIN entry system. The A6 e-tron doesn’t offer an exterior PIN entry system, and its Audi Connect Care can’t unlock the doors if the vehicle doesn’t have cell phone reception or the driver can’t contact the service.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Mustang Mach-E has a standard rear wiper. The A6 e-tron doesn’t offer a rear wiper.

The Mustang Mach-E is equipped with both FM and AM stereo radios, offering access to more content and better coverage than the A6 e-tron, which solely provides FM radio. With AM radio, you can enjoy a wider variety of stations featuring news, talk shows, sports commentary, native language programing, automated traffic guidance, and emergency broadcasts. AM waves travel further and penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than FM signals, especially at night. Having both FM and AM stereo radios the Mustang Mach-E offers a more comprehensive listening experience compared to only FM in the A6 e-tron.

HD Radio boasts several benefits over conventional radio: superior sound quality with clearer and consistent FM broadcasts, CD-quality audio, and Multicast Channels offering up to four streams from a single station, adding programming choices. Cars like the Mustang Mach-E equipped with available HD Radio provide an improved in-car entertainment experience. The A6 e-tron, devoid of this technology, foregoes these benefits.
